Me? No. I won't have it. We have a basic human right to say what goes into our bodies. I've done my research.
This is not a political topic, I'm just interested in what y'all think on a personal level.

I think on a personal level that the sky is blue due to diffraction of light through the atmosphere, that things fall down due to gravity warping space around matter, the Earth is round, that we landed on the Moon and there's a mirror there that you can use to measure the distance from Earth, and that vaccines have kept billions of people healthier and alive over the last several hundred years. Of course this isn't political. It's science. Evidence based science. It would be one thing if being antivax was a danger to one's self, but it is also a danger to their children, and to the community around them. It is a threat to public health. Of course I'll have the vaccine, maybe even a phase 3 trial if possible. I'll get it because I care about my own health. Because I care about my family and friends. Because I care enough that I don't want to potentially make random strangers sick. On a personal level? I know of many people with pre-existing health issues where Covid could be dangerous or fatal. So, being antivax isn't just some dumb exercise in online debate. I consider it to be a healthy person willfully and gloatingly threatening the health of myself, my family, and my friends.
That isn't even going into the economic fallout we've had. Every functional adult that doesn't take simple precautions is making this longer and worse than it needs to be. The rest of us are doing our part in this and here people are refusing basic simple things that clearly make a difference. It's shocking and sad to see, to be honest. We live in a society and that carries responsibilities to your neighbors.

As with everything, I will do some research and make my mind up at the time.

Personally, if it turns out to be viable and if it spreads further in my metro area, I might get it. But I might not. I already have a immune disorder that comes with ankylosing spondylitis, so I will wait patiently to see what type of reactions there are going to be to it before deciding whether I should get it.

I think I said this somewhere before, but my only concern is about the efficacy of a vaccine that's really rushed. But like with all other vaccines, once it's proven effective and safe, I'll absolutely get it. Not just for my own benefit, but for the benefit of those around me.

I donāt know why I wouldnāt get it. Even if the first one isnāt perfect in terms of protection and how long it lasts, itās better than nothing. It would be irresponsible of me to risk shutting down my workplace if there is an option to have additional protection. Iāll do my research into what the vaccine contains and how it works, but more out of interest than anything. I have no allergies, and I trust that actual qualified vaccinologists will have done the appropriate research into safety etc. I wonāt take part in trials since I canāt take time off work, but Iāll be first in line to get any vaccine when itās out.
On a similar note, I highly recommend that everyone has the flu jab this year. In the U.K., it will be made available for free to more people than it ever has before. If you arenāt eligible for a free one, pay the Ā£8 or whatever it is. The currently thinking is that coinfection with seasonal flu and covid could be pretty serious, and obviously the more people who are hospitalised with either, the more strain placed on our hospitals.

Of course, I'm going to get it. I'm in the high-risk group and I care about those around me. I get my regular flu shot every year so what the heck!

Absolutely not, I do not trust Gates, the WHO or anyone else for that matter. I personally believe this is agenda 21, population control. I do not consent. Just stating my personal opinion.

Yes, absolutely. Every single time in history that a vaccine has been introduced, there have been naysayers that immediately go to population control or government surveillance. History laughs at those people, and so do I. In order for a vaccine to be effective, we need to build herd immunity. That involves a large percentage of the population getting the vaccine so that those who medically cannot are still protected.

This is not a political topic, I'm just interested in what y'all think on a personal level. I agree. I've done my research as well. It's really plain to see. It's always been a personal choice to what and how you keep yourself healthy. That is your right, my right and everyone else right. If you want to not take care of yourself thats your right to do so. I'm going to keep myself as healthy as I can. Strengthen my immune system and if I get sick with anything do the same thing I've been doing my whole life. Treat myself accordingly. If I don't get better, I go to the doctors. Edward76 edit: (insert "to")
