Technically, every election is rigged when you're stuck in a two party system. It's impossible to find someone that aligns with your values out of two options, and the election system is set up specifically to squash the chances of anyone who is not Democrat or Republican. Votes for any other party may as well go directly in the trash can for what they are worth election-wise.

I believe it's "284", not "254". Anyways, Biden has won the presidency, but now we have to face challenges as Trump is attempting to quash our chances of a new president by ordering all "illegal" voters and vote counters arrested and forcing a recount on blue states. Not all outlets have called some of the states others have.  For example, the BBC still believes that Arizona is still too close to call so have not called that one yet.  That will see an 11 point difference between them and others that have called it.

Likewise, the Associated Press have called Nevada for Biden, but the BBC haven't, so the AP shows Biden at 290 whilst the BBC shows 273.

I don't think Biden will be in office for very long before it is realized that he is unfit for the Presidency...so we should all welcome Harris as the new President!

Can give my opinion as an independent- Pelosi should let someone else take over leadership. Tearing up that speech was immature, but it wasn't important. Seriously, it's some pieces of paper. Who cares. I wish people were as upset about real issues, such as the economy or hundreds of thousands of people dying. Like really, people are making some big deal out of someone tearing up some paper? Seriously? that's some blanked up priorities and shows that a lot of people just want to see people as an enemy, no matter how petty it is.

Well I haven't seen the Republican equivalent of 2016 where Rosie O'Donnell and a dozen other 'celebrities' proclaimed if Donald Trump won the election they would leave the country (and sadly reneged on their promises).

Joe Biden 290 and Trump got 232 electoral votes.

If yes, then it will be Biden with 306 and Trump with 232.
