A good result for your Brighton Graham , beating WBA 3-1 , the Baggies are a hard team to beat and I am glad for Chris Houghton also as I do like that guy and he is very underrated as a manager. Looks like the pressure is on Frank de Boer as Palace manager, 4 defeats on the trot and no goals scored but keeping track of the score yesterday Palace were playing good football and were unlucky not to get a draw against Burnley.

They scored one more than that, Caajscot (John)! It is ridiculous that de Boer is under pressure. He was brought in to change the style of play and to build a good footballing team. That is what he is all about. It doesn't immediately happen though, and needs time to develop the team.

Whoop's my wrong, it was 3-1, will edit and amend after If that has happened then it sucks, they should have at least given him more time, football is just a big business nowadays, instant success or you are out the door.

Would be interested to hear what Palace fans think about that. I'd be really quite annoyed if it happened to us.

Good win for us on Saturday - happy to get the first win out of the way and against a decent side in West Brom - they defended awfully though, very surprised to see that from a Tony Pulis side.
As much as I hate Crystal Palace and wish nothing but doom and misery upon them, this is a terrible decision. 4 games to change the entire philosophy of the club, with the wrong players (7 CBs in the squad, and only 1 fit striker who can't currently hit a barn door).
Clubs are far too quick to pull the trigger and blame the manager- but this seems like it is more trouble upstairs with issues with the board and owners. Still, as a Brighton fan it's hilarious!

Seems like a lot of disappointment with both the De Boer sacking and the underwhelming replacement, no surprises at all. Some people seem to be genuinely baffled by it.

How can they (Crystal Palace) go for a 70-year-old? also, they were looking for a replacement two weeks ago according to the BBC.
