You have extra spaces in some of your text. All you have to do is go into Modify Boards for each one that has spaces in it and use the delete button to remove the spaces.

It sounds like you have an invalid url. You will have to go into the marquee code you are using and replace all the links. Try using the one below:

It goes in the main header, if you only want it to appear on the main page.

You can still have an impressive message using HTML. You can center the text, enlarge it, change the font color or whatever. Try this: <p align="center"> <font face="Verdana" color="red" size="6">Your message goes here</font> You of course, can change the font, color and size to whatever you want.

It's possible that the main administrator decided to delete their board, since they are no longer using it. Or perhaps someone who has been active on the board violated TOS and caused it to be deleted. If you wait for Craig to respond, he can tell you what happened. However, if the main administrator deleted the board, it cannot be brought back..sorry.

Could you please open your board to guests, so we can see the layout of your forum? Thanks!

I don't mean to intrude, but shouldn't the text in red say "cell", instead of "row"?

Yep! That's what the problem was allright! I didn't add numbers in the guest column initially, because our board isn't normally open to guests so I didn't think I needed to. I didn't realize that by not doing so would prevent all the members from seeing the menu bar!. So thanks for your help, Eve..and you too, Craig!

I did as you asked and moved the reorder menu code to the top of the global header, yet the problem still remains. The menu bar doesn't show for members, only the administrator.

terristorms.proboards52.com/index.cgiOne of my board's members reported that she could no longer see the menu bar, which I could see just fine. So I logged in under my non-admin name, and couldn't see it either. It appears that only the administrator can see it. I tried removing the code that moves the bar to the top of the board to see if that would solve the problem, but it didn't. I also tried removing the code that rearranges the menu options, to no avail! Our board is usually closed to guests, but I polled our members to see if the majority would approve that I open the board temporarily, so someone from this help forum could help me figure out what the heck is wrong! Also, here's a link to a cap that shows what I see as the administrator. As you can see, the menu options show up just fine! http://i49./f251/Teestorms/Proboard%20Graphics/dafcap.jpg

Thanks for the prompt replies. I guess there is at least one advantage to all that "cyber clutter". Looking at all those old boards has given me some possible ideas of some changes I can make on my own board! Some of those inactive boards obviously had a lot of work put in to them..it's just a shame that they are no longer in use.

I am curious about something..I just spent some time checking out the links listed in member's profiles. I was disappointed to see that the majority of the sites posted there were inactive. Some hadn't been used in several years! So I guess my question is..what is the policy on boards such as these? Are old "dead" boards eventually deleted, or are they left there indefinately? Does a staff member ever try to conact the email address listed for the main administrator to see if they still want their board? It's just seems to me that having such a huge number of unused boards would put an unnecessary strain on the servers. Also all those "dead" boards are using up creative names that someone new might like to use on their own boards.

I'm also on server 52, and am having the same difficulties as everyone else, so it appears that the entire server is being affected..not just a few. I came on the support board to report it, but it looks like Craig already knows about it..so I will try to be patient..

I'm only going to critique the top one. The other's are all too small for me to see clearly. The image is clean and crisp, and the colors blend very well with the background. I also like the way you used the feathering effect around the image. I think the background is a bit too "busy" though. I might remove some of the objects from it.
