It's 3pm here in SK, just woke up about an hour ago. Had a pretty awesome night. Right after work I went and met with some friends, we went out for dinner, went bar hopping until 2am. We tried to find another bar, but got lost. Ended up going to a club, but one of the friends I was with and I weren't liking the music, so we left. Ended up heading back to my apartment around 5am, watched the Interview and ate some food, then left around 7am to climb a mountain so we could see the first sunrise. Haha nice! I watched The Interview last night as well! What are your thoughts on it being from SK? I'm from America, I'm just living in SK. I love Seth Rogen/Evan Goldberg comedies (Superbad is one of my favorite movies ever), so I liked it. Definitely wasn't their best movie, but it was still pretty funny. The Korean friend I was watching it with didn't like it all that much, but I think that was just because he has a different sense of humor and less because of it being about North Korea.

LOK S2 was probably the worst of the series, so if you're addicted now, than you will surely be addicted to three and four. It's too bad that the channel that 'shall not be named' refused to fund or support it completely. It's a great series. It just didn't satisfy the demographic they sing to. I hear a lot of people say S2 was the worst in the series, but I personally felt like S1 was. They're both pretty close though, in general I definitely think Korra got better as the series went on (and very, very rarely came close to being as good as TLA was). Whether you prefer S1 or S2, I still say S2 has the best episodes in the series.

I got Seppy's card last week. I was incredibly surprised, wasn't expecting to get anything from anyone considering it's kind of expensive to mail stuff to Korea. I would have mailed cards out, but I'm not really sure where the post office is.

It's like that episode of Futurama where Fry and Bender move in together: your phone just wants to live in the cramped little apartment and disregards the spacious "closet" behind it. I'm almost positive this happened in King of the Hill too. It's not really relevant to the discussion, I just felt the need to say it anyway.

White wine is my favorite (Chardonnay is amazing), but it's kind of expensive here (cheapest bottles I can find are about $10, and they're usually red. I don't like red). I don't like beer, but Tsintao is alright. Rum + Coke is always nice. I definitely drink more of this than anything else though, a bottle is about $1 here. Soju is really only popular in Korea, but Koreans drink so much of it that two of the companies that produce it are the first and third most popular alcohol brands in the world.

I've watched Jurassic Park last night, I'm going to watch The Lost World tonight. As far as TV shows go, I've been watching: Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways (Even if you don't like the Foo Fighters, I still think it's worth watching. Each episode covers a different city in the US and talks about the history and effect of the music that city has put out. The Legend of Korra - Pretty good animated series. Check out "The Last Airbender" if you haven't already seen it. It takes place before Korra, and it's even better. Syko covered a lot of my favorite shows, namely Parks and Rec, Breaking Bad, The Office (my all time favorite), The first 4 seasons of Dexter (if you like it and are curious about the later seasons, pretend they don't exist. They're absolutely terrible, and the finale of the series is almost a joke. It's just awful in nearly every possible way). Another comedy worth mentioning is the IT Crowd. It's short enough that you could watch the entire series in a day. The Walking Dead is fun, but you said you're already watching it. Game of Thrones is pretty good. I don't think it's as good as a lot of people make it out to be, but it's definitely not bad. Worth watching for the set pieces alone, it's a very pretty show. If you don't mind subtitles (because I'm going to assume you don't speak/read Korean), these are also really good, and I doubt you'll see them on any other list here: City HunterTwo Weeks Reply 1997Pinocchio (This one isn't finished yet, I'm currently watching it though and it's pretty good so far).

Valiant Hearts was the best game I played this year, it was terrific.
Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor, Mario Kart 8, The Banner Saga, and The Walking Dead: Season 2 are all runner ups.
Still need to finish The Wolf Among Us, which should end up being thrown into the runner up mix as well.

I don't really like black teas, I prefer eastern teas. Green Tea is usually pretty good. I picked up a box of "apple cinnamon" tea a few weeks ago, that's amazing.

I think my biggest problem with this whole thing isn't that it seems like everyone has to take a side - you're either for Wilson, or you're for Brown. Everyone is making it out to be this black and white thing (in every sense of the meaning). What if I don't think either of them deserves my support? If I support Brown, I'm supporting a criminal who robbed a convenience store and manhandled the owner. I'm supporting a side that has it's fair share of peaceful protestors (like his father), but also has quite a few not-so-peaceful ones (like his step father who's been caught on video saying "Burn This B*** Down" and literally inciting a riot). I'm supporting a group of people who think burning down multiple stores and putting people out of their jobs (even if it's potentially temporary) is acceptable. If I support Wilson, I'm supporting a cop who has no real way of proving that his testimony is the way things went down (although the autopsy supports it) and is being supported by the KKK. In this case, I don't think either side deserves my "support".
