Does it involve tracking the global accounts?

And on a less serious note, have you hired a machine learning expert yet to implement a neural network in order to learn against the spam bots?

If we detail exactly how our system works that could give information to spammers in order to try to get around it (just like how Google doesn't tell you how they rank their pages so that you can't cheat to the top).

I will say though that working with stopforumspam.com's API is one of the things we are doing (we have received permission from them - I know that normally they are noncommercial only).

We've explained in detail the new procedures, the new privacy. We have given in depth details for the reasons why we are doing what we are doing. We've explained that you not only have ALL the same functionality, you have even more. We have improved this in every way. We have given alternatives and even developed new features to address your concerns (Email Members page) We are protecting and respecting member privacy and increasing forum security. End of story.
