didnt forget. I just have been REALLY busy with the theatres preparing for HFR Hobbit 2. a lot of upgrades had to be done, and some of my theatres are a bit of a drive in LA traffic. by the time I get home Im either tired or mad or both.

ok here is what I have so far...

I dont have anything that lets the admin see the history, but it will pop-up some HTML that the amdin can customize to the member and store in their own key their history. each rank change also stores to the admin key for when I make the UI to see it.

the admin account also doesnt see the rank up HTML salute so I could use the space for history.

hopefully this weekend I can get the UI done

I ran into a bug when it was sorting the logs so I am working on that part. I have the UI done though. it even keeps track of how many new since you last refreshed the page using a clever idea I had that literally made me say "Wormo you are clever!" after I came up with it.

I also have to come up with a governing system to keep it from saving logs indefinitely.

In real life I use my last name as my first name to new people. my oldest friends use my real first name.. and of course if I ever dated anyone I would use my first name. I just didnt want to put my actual name in that post. I knew a girl that worked at a Denny's that made everyone call her elf. even her name tag said Elf.

I think I have the array issue figured out.

Im also storing on each member's key, when they hit eacj rank. like each member gets a small log of their OWN rankup history. would it be worth it to make it where they could see it? any ideas on where they would click?

Wormopolis, but it's more fun to imagine you whisper to yourself calling yourself Wormo. =( Makes sense, though. I usually just go by my first name, Brady, though sometimes people will call me variations of my last name or just call me Brad. I actually hate going by Elf, a lot, but didn't wanna switch because I have a lot of people that know me by that name who probably wouldn't recognize me if I switched to Brady after, like, 9 years of proboards use. xD I go by Brady on my own site, though, at least. Just here and Adoxography I kept Elf and silently weep every time I'm called it. xDD Woe the names we choose for ourselves when we're, like, 11 years old....

Woohoo, sweet job! I like the idea of them seeing it, personally. Maybe if they click their rank name a dialogue box pops up, similar to the Awards Plugin? Or just give it a class name and people can put it in the User Profile template that way. Or its own tab in the User Profile. Orrr in Edit User Profile, since it's for the member to view. Any of those help? xD

ok, so what I did was make it where if you click their name while looking at their profile, it displays their personal ranking history. except the admin since that isnt tracked because I used that space to track everyones.

admin gets a menu item that will even put up a notification balloon when new rank ups have happened since the last page refresh and when the dialog pops up they are bold. I have a hard max set at 200 in order to make sure storage doesnt get overfull, and an option in the settings for a smaller number if desired.
