the error 64 dialog I dont have control over. that is an error that happens when the key set fails..

I don't believe so, Wormopolis, though I haven't had the chance to test yet. I can do so tomorrow no problem ^^ In the meantime, I made your Wormo account on the site Co-Administrator (temporarily) so you can mess with the plugin all you want. Don't worry about anything in the plugin, it's all temporary so nothing has to be preserved, mess all you need. I'll post after testing tomorrow!

I think I know what is happening... something I thought to be true is turning out to no longer be true...

I have to make an inquiry.. if it turns out I cant do this the way I wanted, Im going to have to make it work another way that will involve 2 keys. I was trying to use the admin's superkey to store the forum list, and apparently in my testing, an admin link was always available on the screen so the key was accessible...

from the way I've been reading around here its not preferred but if it can't be helped then there are special arrangements made VS Admin would really have to explain this in deeper thought than I currently have at the moment. sorry wormo

as far as I know, no one has done it yet... most of us have always operated under the rule that such a thing would be prohibited. we still ask for things though. Patrick said my idea for this would be allowed, but I have to wait on Tim to make sure its logistically possible.

there is a huge potential for abuse if authors start using their own ajax to push data to PB servers. data corruption. race conditions. flooding. plus lets say PB changed something on their end. their functions they provide usually get modified along as well to ensure compatibility. random authors ajax likely wouldnt and cause a break.
