I am very very happy to report that I tested the plug-in and it works like a charm.

It recognized my images and menu icon, converted the V4 posts, allowed for edits without changing the hand, and is board specific.

I see Community Library has tried it already and he says it work great for . I see no reason why it wouldn't on my forum.

Todge as you will see in the first image , i'm getting two poker buttons. In the last image (i have in this post) once i click on the button nothing shows, until i click on create post. Once it is posted as in the 2nd image the post as two set and they are the same cards. Here is my board link and the link i have the plugin set to.

First of all, can you temporarily disable all your other plugins to see if there is a conflict, then, assuming it works fine by itself, go through the other plugins one at a time, starting with the yootil plugin, and test to see when this code starts misbehaving.

Its the Outer Forum Border Images BZ 0.1.6 L  plugin . Thats do it.

But although i have both Outer Forum Border Images BZ 0.1.6 L  disable and it does work fine, once i click on the poker button it stills disappear and nothing shows until i click on create post.

That is meant to happen, it's to stop you clicking it more than once, and the poker hand is not added to the post until you submit it to stop cheats from changing their hands after they've been dealt the cards.

To fix the problem with the code doubling up, I'm afraid you'll have to ask the author of the Outer Forum Border Images plugin to change the pagination function of his/her code, as I can not do anything with that.

I just tried your Poker Plugin on my test site and it works great! (but I had to stop testing before I got back in the habit and wasted hours playing poker on-line... again )

todge or someone explain to please what specifically goes in the Card Image URL

i have all my cards in one folder, it says if the number of card is 1 to replace it with an *

the first card of the folder and thats all you enter? i did that but i just get thhe photobucket message This user had deleted this image message for every card

Did you put them in their own folder and have the folder mark as Poker or whatever name you want?  If you did that did you upload them in order from 1 to 52?   If you did do it that way, then upload the image that is the first (#1) once you have the link for that image then change the 1 to *  . That is what i did and it worked fine.

i didnt rename them they came numbered, they didnt end up in the order 1 to 52 for whatever reason but i used the first card in the folder

Photobucket must be the single worst image host on the 'net.

Because it has a habit of adding a heap of random characters to the end of the image name it pretty much renders then useless for use in an array.

In other words.. Do not use Photobucket with this plugin.

whats a good host thats always gonna be hosted then, i have a pic site youd think id know about pic hosts but i use just one
