Photobucket does strange things to uploaded image URLs. Why, I'm not entirely sure, but with the correct settings, it can be used.
I don't use Photobucket for that reason so I can't help you there, other than to suggest a different image host. But if anyone reading this thread that does know which settings to turn off to get it to work would kindly post, I'll add them to the first post for others to see.

Hi,
I finally got the poker game to work and show the hands, but how is the game supposed to be played? I don't see a way to choose how to keep the cards you want and fold the others, etc.
Also, if I want to upload different card images, do they have to be in the same order as your deck?
The cards in the zip file appear too small in the posts with no borders between them.
Thanks.

Hi-ya, All this code does is give you a hand of 5 random cards, it's purely a game of comparing that hand to the other posters in the thread. There are a couple or reasons why it's so simple, one is that a deck only contains 52 cards, severely limiting the amount of players a thread can have, the other was the problem with storage when this code was first written for version 4. Now that we have keys to play with the second problem no longer exists, so a plugin containing all the rules could be created, but you'd still have the problem of a 52 card deck, but as was only asked to get the old code working on version 5, that's all I did. As for the images, they can be in whatever order you like, so long as the images are numbered sequentially.

Maybe you could host them on yours and if we want to change the cards then we have to figure out how to do it? Or host it within the plugin as the default images, like how the button is there by default unless we want to change it? Because I have tried photobucket, tinypic, flickr, imgur, and dropbox and have failed and I think this method is a little less than user-friendly based on my experience with trying to get the photos to work. =/ Like.. if we don't put in a URL, it's the default cards and we don't have to host it ourselves, but if we put in a URL we can customize it through those means?

I hosted the images in my public Dropbox folder, and that works. Did you upload them to the public folder on Dropbox? If they're uploaded to a private folder, it won't work.

I'm not particularly familiar with dropbox so I can't accurately say. xD Seeing as it didn't work, I'm guessing private.

There is a limit as to how many images a plugin can have built it.. I just assumed 53 images would hit that target, but I can check. To make this compatible with Photobucket and it's native random character URLs, you would also have to enter 52 images into the plugin, is that really more user friendly than one modified on? I'll look into the image limit, and also look into making a change to the plugin to accept separate images or a single URL for sequentially numbered files.

I THINK it was 100 or 200 but I'm not certain by any means
No, it wouldn't be, but it'd be easier to get done than what I've been doing thus far, honestly. It'd be tedious but it might be better than the aimless wandering and frustration I've gotten from these image uploaders not working -shakes fist at image uploaders-
