Wow! So will the advertising sections be like the announcement? On/off? Thanks again, this is awesome.

The advertising section will actually be the extra third cell, and will only be displayed if it has content, so you won't choose to display it, as such, but add content to it and it will display automatically.

News so far...
What I was trying to do cannot currently be done, but it WILL be possible with a new function that will be coming some time soon in the future. So, what I'll do is put in my work around, assuming I can get that to work, and then update the plugin when the new function is available.
What the work around does it try to work out the new thread's ID number, and will then check it when the thread is created. If it guesses wrong, a pop-up will appear asking for the user to click to save the info, and then the plugin will be amended with the correct thread ID.
Hopefully that will only happen once, when you first install the plugin, there-after it 'should' be able to work out the correct ID, unless the plugin is un-installed for a time, or more than one thread is created at the dame time.

Soo... Users would get an error message asking them to save the info? What does that entail?

Yes! More support! Have you got the workaround working? And do you have any idea on when the new features will be available to use?

I've not had the chance to yet, but will hopefully be able to during, or maybe before the weekend. As for the new function, hopefully soon, but that's in the hands of the developers, and they have their hands full at the moment. As to your question Mr. Undecided, all the user will have to do is click the pop-up to close it.

Todge, I don't know how the plug ins work or how they know where to show up, but I got to thinking, since this will go in a side bar, will it be a problem if people are using the Top to Bottom plug in? Can they both be on the same side, with say one taking the upper portion of the side and the other taking the lower portion? The TTB plug in can be set to top, middle or bottom of right or left side, but since most people are right handed, I think most people use it on the right hand side of their forum, which happens to be where I think most will want their recent threads. Anyway, I thought I should ask.

The way the sidebar is added to your forum, it shouldn't effect the positioning of any other objects, so yes, this 'should' be able to be used on the same side as the Top to Bottom plugin.. Whether you can make them both fit on the same side without hindering each other is another matter, but I don't see any reason why not.

Thanks for letting me know.
