I have checked and rechecked the code, and I don't think it is the issue because I tried moving a working post instead of copying or quoting it and moving it broke it the same way it broke when I copy/pasted.

My tests:

*When I copy and paste the code from the non working thread onto a reply to the working thread, it works.

* When I copy and paste the code that works onto the non working thread as a reply, it doesn't work.

* When I move a post from the thread that works to ANY other thread, new or merging it, it no longer works.

* When I first noticed the issue I tried updating to the newest version of the style plug in to see if that would fix it, but it didn't.

I am at a total loss as to why the posting template would only work on that one thread. I'm not sure if it is an issue with the plug in or something else. Any and all help appreciated!

The second page does not have any [newclass] tag BBcode in it at all. Did you copy from a preview editor on the other post? You should be copying from the BBcode tab..

This is a general point about your data retention policy and its affect on the environment and has nothing to do with My Forum.
While keeping every post ever made has its uses.
It is a policy that has a serious environmental impact.

Almost all domains have the same policy, so this is not a criticism of you but of the generally accepted wisdom. And is purely an opinion of one customer.

This means there are thousands of emails to billions of people on tens of thousands of servers that are always turned on so we can always access them. Many of those emails have been sent to hundreds if not thousands or millions of people. Which multiplies that figure to an even larger number.

Just to give you a scale of the problem last year I automatically deleted over a million emails addressed specifically to me and not just to the company I work for. That was one incident of unchecked automatic alerts. Automatic alerts have there uses but when unchecked by humans can get seriously out of hand. But there are millions of companies and millions of people delivering quadrillions of emails every day. Many un read and automatically deleted on arrival. They are called spam. Even legitimate emails is in certainly in the billions and probably in the trillions daily.

Globally, we are already currently burning Mega-tonnes of coal just keeping emails and posts on blogs on line for most of those sites this retention policy is for all the time.

I would kindly suggest that at some point in the not too distant future you revisit your policy to keep every post ever sent for all times
available online for perusing at any time of day or night.

Please work out what is a sensible retention period or what period of inactivity is a sensible limit and either start automatically deleting posts if they can be deleted or move posts that are effectively archives to storage that is not permanently on.

For example insisting that old archives are stored on NUC, Mini PC with only SSD storage, where high performance is not an issue but power consumption is.

Your retention policy is obviously your policy to chose, but as a customer that is my opinion of one way you might improve it and help in a small way to get all of us to carbon negative environment faster.

Do you have ANY research to back up any of these claims?

Many large host providers such as Google, AWS, Softlayer / IBM (which is what Proboards uses for their host [from latest info]) use renewable energy, and are not "burning Mega-tonnes of coal".

It is pretty odd op wants dual display on a single motherboard, arent pcs required to have a gpu?

No, it is not required. Motherboards come with onboard graphics for base use, but it is suggested to have a graphics card for anything other than bare-minimum display usage.

Couldnt you also get a displayport to hdmi and link that way? Most modern cpus alone should support it. Even back in 4000 Icore days should do dual display.

This specific motherboard ONLY has an HDMI. There is no other display output provided by the motherboard. It isn't that the CPU isn't able to handle it, it just means it's onboard graphics can't.

I have a similar motherboard; the onboard graphics does indeed only have one HDMI output. You should also have a graphics card (aka GPU), which is where there should be a few options for HDMI / DisplayPort / VGA outputs.

Do you have a graphics card installed?

NightClan views outsiders with great disdain, and are the least likely Clan to accept loners. There is a big emphasis on kindling a stronger generation to inherit the Clan, so pairings are normally strategic rather than sentimental. The goal is the breed the best of the best for the best. NightClan is the only Clan to be nocturnal, choosing to sleep during the day and perform most activities at night.[/font]

They have a very open attitude towards outsiders and preach loyalty to the Clan above all else. They are an extremely tight-knit community split into two distinct groups, the Cave-guards and the Prey-hunters. Both groups are dedicated to providing for their Tribe, but resentment can sometimes foster within one group for the other. The Tribe is much smaller than the Clans, which results in a somewhat negative attitude towards couples that cannot produce kits. Polygamy is very common, it's not unusual to see a cat here with multiple mates.[/font]

That isn't BBCode but it is related to the Style Tag plugin, so you should read through the help thread for that:

I think you may have the syntax wrong for the newclass tag. I don't know if the googlefont tag is currently working. But you'll get better information from the author of the plugin if you post on that thread.

Might have to do with the recent HTTPS transition and the Style Tag plugin not using HTTPS for Google Fonts. I just updated the plugin to use HTTPS and should be out in the library soon.

The cord looks pretty decent. But it is old. Not sure if they last as long as a laptop cord or not.
But the computer is almost 5 years old.

If it's not the cord, then it is either the power supply (what powers the computer via your power cord), the storage disk being corrupted or has died, or your motherboard (the brain of your computer) is fried.
Hopefully it's one of the first 3 things, and not the motherboard since that is what all of the other components are stuck onto and would not be worth replacing.
Hopefully a new power cord will fix it!

You were right it didn't work. The end that plugs into the computer were different sizes. The HP one was fatter as the Sony one was smaller.

I think it would be worth buying a replacement AC power cord for your HP All-in-one before jumping the gun. If the cord is older / has been used a lot and only works if manipulated into a certain position, the wiring may be frayed inside / connections no longer complete.
