I actually get really frustrated when I help someone (which can take a significant amount of time), and they just disappear after they have what they need. Exactly. I have that happen all the time with skins/templates. Until they want a new one that is.

I'm still around, I can code a little I don't write codes now, well, I have one in progress but I am so busy with work and owning nubs on Black Ops, I just don't feel like writing rehashes, because that's what it's coming too. With many of the bigger coding forums gone, the large codes already created and nobody bothering to train up aspiring coders (or there being any aspiring coders there), the scene has dropped massively from what it used to be..... *waves*

The only one I really remember from long ago is Ross, and I know he's busy with his own site, and Hey Peter didn't you use to be a code moder here?

Hi Kenneth Yep, I was the first ever coding board moderator Have been co-owner of SSDesigns, & co-owner of ProVision. Now I just work and game, no time for ProBoards at the moment, occasionally I will add a line or 2 of code to a ProBoards Mod I have been working on, but that's it.

I've just gotten bored, honestly. I'm swamped with school and stuff, but I will do whatever entertains me and ProBoards modifications have lost that touch since there's rarely anything new or interesting to do. That, and I agree with the manners comments above... a lot of the joy was getting a thank you from a happy requester, but those became a rarity even.

Dare I say it, I've nearly completed my template and still no word from a coder. This is hard.

I started coding for ProBoards probably about five or more years ago, and I still enjoy coding. I just don't want to start any "big" projects because the release of V5 is impending (and has been for a couple years now -_-), and all of the more simplistic codes have been made already.
When V5 does come around look for a huge surge in activity in the coding and design community.

With many of the bigger coding forums gone, the large codes already created and nobody bothering to train up aspiring coders (or there being any aspiring coders there), the scene has dropped massively from what it used to be..... It's the lack of aspiring coders that gets me ... Many will want to know stuff straight away, or be spoon fed the information on how to do something. Many are reluctant to get critique for their code. The last person I helped a lot was Wormo - he used to send me a load of codes just to get feedback/tips. I got fedup coding for PB due to people not being polite, requesting the same stuff, or quite simply the coding being boring. I tended to take on projects that would be more 'unique' Speaking of unique - Peter, how's your new mod going? Fixed all the bugs that we came up with all those months ago? Hai Luke!

I think you should hold off till you find time to finish it, however, it depends on how long it'll be till you finish vs v5 release/you having to recode.
