Bah. Now there's all these javascript libraries I'm sure you could just do something like:

And it would do it all for you...

This thread reminds me of how much I looked up to all of you coders. And still do! My JS is not very good, compared to other languages, but I wrote a few successful mods of my own for PB. Problem was I couldn't publish any 'cause they were very site specific or had been done similarly before… I always wished I could be one of those amazing names in PB mod history!

We just don't have much motivation left at this point. We've accomplished most of our realistic goals for PBv4 and the forum software has been pretty much stagnant as we wait for PBv5. It's hard for us to run our own forums now because PBS has monopolized the coding and design industry; a user is less likely to join a new forum when they can find everything they need on PBS.

Perhaps V5 will help this, but I'm not going to be optimistic about things changing. There are a few great coders still around that do an excellent job of satisfying the community.
