I need a plug in to pre approve posts by certain members

We are retesting hang on.   I'm never sure who is supposed to 'see' plug ins.  I take it the site doesn't recognize that test1and lucy are the same person?? so it shows it to both?

Ok we changed the setting back to everyone but now he can't see his own post.

something is weird.. it doesnt show the plugin is loaded, yet it shows the plugin has key init permissions. it also doesnt show any init values.

go to manage plugins. click the edit button. set it so EVERYONE sees the plugin. dont add any usergroups in that. leave it on all themes, and EVERYONE sees it.

then click into the plugin itself. setup one user to be quarantined on one board. you can set approvers if you want, but keep in mind admin account will always have ability.

then tell me which board you chose.

Ok the account name is test1 and the board is Out of the Ordinary.  He replied to a thread called Mambo Jambo

But NOW, he sees it, which is ok, BUT now I don't see any quarantine or approval for it.  It looks like any other post.

but I'm not using staff on this, just the admin.  Still want staff and member for testing purposes?

I set it the way you asked, but I don't see any quarantine or approval button.  just the post.

no you dont have to set anyone for approval.

ok now I am looking at settings. everything is there, except you dont have any member associated with the quarantine. are you wanting to apply this to EVERY post in a board? I was under the impression this was to target a specific member. I dont have anything in there for targetting EVERY post. choose a specific member and see if it works.

I have to add in something if you leave that part blank. right now it probably makes the code freak out.


EDIT:  also I cant see the board you are testing on.  can you use one of the public boards?

First, now he can see his post, ok.  I see the quarantine and approval.  He is logging out and going to re log in and see if he can see it as a different member.  He just tested it as a second member and it says it is under review.  So perfect! 

What I want to do is to preview one member on two boards.  I also want to preview all posts on all boards for brand new members.  I have trolls trying to return and want to be able to filter them out without them posting attacks at other members. 

I have it set to what you said, but am concerned about getting it set up proper for previewing the new members.

I changed the permissions since it is just the test site so you should see it now.

Well, what I plan to do is as registrations come in, I will add them to a rule there.  Then remove them as I feel they are legit.

The post count thing.  It would probably be nice, right now I am thrilled to have this.  I do see where locating these quarantined posts may be troublesome, but I'll deal with it as best I can through their 'most recent' posts.  Umm if they are quarantined will they show up there?
