guests are all treated as the same account, but with whatever name they typed into th ebox. there is nothing that identifies one guest from another. I currently have it flagging all guest posts regardless of when the plugin is installed. which means it would flag previous guest posts. which would basically mean you would have to go back and just do a quick approve on all those posts once and be done with it.
I might have another idea though, which Im trying tonight.
you can setup rules that any new member under a certain post count will get their posts plagged in those boards. you can setup a rule that only guests get flagged in that board. you can setup a rule that only a specific member regardless of postcount gets flagged in that board. its pretty versatile, the guests posts being my last little hurdle.
Im also storing who and when the post gets approved for a future update that will show that info on a hover or some little data field.

dropbox has version 1.0.2 if you wanna give that a shot. I submitted that version to library as well since it seemed to be working in all browsers.

When members delete their accounts they become guests. This sounds like its going to leave quarantined posts from past members all over the place.

No no I solved that. Key permissions have to be left on default for guest stuff to work. If a member deletes themselves , their old posts won't be touched

just leave the members array blank and put in a number for the post count. for example if you put 5, then ANY member that posts, that has less then 5 posts (including guests because they essentially have -1 posts) will get that post flagged. once they get past 5 posts however it wont stop them. which means if they post 6 spam posts, then the 6th one will be considered ok. I cant do anything about that. there is no way for a plugin to stop post count from being incremented. if you dont want that board to add to post count, you have to change that in the board settings itself.

I have a couple of people with less than 10 but maybe that will encourage them to post so they are not previewed! lol This will make it so I don't have to pre approve registrations anymore and open up the site a bit to new members while still watching for trolls. Very nice Wormopolis.

have fun with it! Im goign to make another edit this weekend to have it flag any reported posts as well for a request. eventually I can work out the notification system. I have a question regarding guests. Do I put guest in the member array to preview guests for x amount of posts? Also, you said you are going to edit it to flag any reported posts. If people can't see it how can it get flagged. If its been approved it shouldn't get flagged. I'm confused on this. Or is this flagging a means of notification? I am going to enable this today on the live site, just wondering about the guest aspect. I'm trying to think of a way to differentiate guests or limit guests to x amount of posts, to encourage them to join.

on the rules page it says what you need to do to affect guests. the only difference between a guest and a new member that has never posted anything is that a guest will always have a postcount of -1. a new member starts out with a post count of 0.
the reported posts flagging will be an option. you dont have to use it. it just makes the post display the "under review" banner once it has been reported. if the report gets cleared, then the post can just be re-approved by the staff.

Oh, ok. Thanks for clearing that up on the guests. I don't know what I did earlier but my own post was under review! lol I think I had left everything empty. I had changed my mind last night on implementing it and left it! Learning curve!

Do guests show up as 'guest' or 'anonymous'? I have an 'anonymous' poster that was not caught in the quarantine. ?

Did they use quick reply? Unless you have the newest version , quick reply isn't caught
