I would like to change the colour of the print when some one finds something but not sure how to do it because as it is now very hard to read.

Go to Admin > Plugins > Manage and click on the Scavenger Hunt plugin name (not the Edit button for it) to get into the UI. On the What's the Prize? tab, scroll down to the option name Prize alert message text. It appears that this field allows HTML, so I'd suggest trying to put some inline styling in there. The default came with <br /> tags in it, so it should accept other HTML.

For example, if that field currently contains:

You found hearts!
<br /><br/>
You will feel compelled to collect more!


try this:

<div style="color: #ffffff;">
You found hearts!
<br /><br />
You will feel compelled to collect more!
</div>


If all works well, that should change the font color to white - but you can change it to whatever color you want.

Looks like you've got to go into the Build for the plugin. Once in Build, go to Line 72 - it should look like this:

You'll see a <span style> in there. Try adding in styling there, like this (highlighted):

Be sure you include the \ before each of the quotes I added, or it'll break it.

If that doesn't work, I'll take a look tomorrow, as I'm about to go to bed. Be sure you save. If it causes other issues, copy the contents in the code box (first box - original line) and put it back in until I can look at it.

I was just coming here to ask that same question.  I'm going to launch it again for Easter, so was wondering if there is any chance a leaderboard will magically appear by then!

It wont show on profiles, who did not set up status messages.

It doesnt work with this code either, gives no number return.:
