The code that was shown for profiles does not work - this is known (as stated earlier in this thread). That code was just a guess at trying to get it to show on profiles. A workaround for getting it to show on profiles has not yet been found / posted. The plugin itself is designed for it to only show on mini-profiles.

Whoops,
I meant mini-profiles. I figured out what was the problem. The plugin is allergic for 
<center></center>tags. I had to remove them, now everything is fine.

Hi,

I use this plugin quite a bit on my site and I am wondering, I seem to recall that there was a away that it awarded more than one prize at a time. But in the time we have used it, it only ever shows as 1.

Is there a setting somewhere I am missing or did I imagine it?

Still love this plugin and want to use it for the second time at my forum soon.

Question:
Is it possible to disable the Prize detector in the PBN bar? To make it a bit more difficult for members?

I don't know the real answer, but an easy workaround would be to make sure that you have the same image in the prize activated and the prize deactivated box in the manage plugins area.

Still love this plugin, I love how easy it is to use with change of holidays.

Does anyone know if David Clerk would maybe come back to update the plugin to work on V6? Will be sad, when I have to just let it go after how much fun it has been.

Hey Everyone!

My sincerest apologies for taking so long with this, but I THINK I've got the bugs worked out. Please let me know if you find any bugs:

In the plugin, you will now find a Modifiers tab that will let you easily modify many of the settings I had previously done as coding posts earlier in this thread. Here is what the new Modifiers tab looks like:






- Multiple Items: With David's original code, you couldn't get more than 1 item per find if the Halloween Feature was turned off. This option will now let you allow members finding multiple items even if the Halloween Feature was turned off and this is set to Allow.

- Collected Items before Multiple Items: This option allows you to easily change the minimum number of items the member has to have in their prize bag before multiple items are found in 1 "find".

- Random Number Range: Originally, at most, you could only get up to, and including, 6 items in 1 find. This option allows you to raise or lower that maximum amount. So, if you entered a 10 in this field, then when a Member is eligible to get multiple items in a find, this would pick a random number from 1 to 10, inclusive, to give them.

- Frequency: This allows you to make it harder to find items. The default is a frequency of 2 (from David's code). Raise this number to make finding items more rare.

- Prize Detector Available: Originally, the little prize detector that appeared on the PBN Bar showed up after a member had 5 items in their prize bag. This option allows you to change the minimum amount needed before that detector shows up. So, if you set this to 10, for example, the prize detector would not show up until after the member had 10 items in their prize bag.

Before anyone asks, the answer is "no" - there is no leaderboard added in this version. I will work on getting that added at some time, though.

Again, please let me know if you find any bugs in this version.

WARNING: This version may NOT work with the code modifications I have posted earlier in this thread. I would suggest importing your settings and getting rid of any versions that were modified with earlier posted codes.

With the new options, you can just set the Prize Detector Available option to a very high number.

Hi.

Just look in the person's mini-profile. There will be an icon there (a bag) with a number to the right of it (see image). That number shows how many items (candies) that user has collected. There is no leaderboard in the plugin itself, but mikemcd has made one (see their post above). Otherwise, you'll just have to look at mini-profiles.
