Labels are specific to the board they were created in. Once a thread moves to a different board the labels are cleared from it, even if the board the thread is being moved to has labels with the exact same name.

Hi, piratedave. Your forum's containers usually get their colors from Themes > Colors & Theme Creator > Customize Theme Colors, but since you've changed certain sections in the Advanced Styles & CSS page they now rely on specific sections on that page. Containers now utilize the background color you have specified in Body (Content) > Containers > Content Areas. The reason your board and thread lists are a different color than your legend is because the elements that they're composed of also have their own background color that was changed in a similar manner. These now rely on the background color you have specified in Body (Content) > List (Boards, Threads, Posts...) > Rows.

Hi, vanwoman. v6 uses a responsive theme, meaning that the desktop theme has the capability to function as both a desktop theme and a mobile theme at the same time. This eliminates the need for a completely separate mobile version of the forum since the desktop version does both. Your mobile experience on ProBoards will still consist of a simpler view of the forum just like it did in v5.

If you need any help coding anything I would recommend posting in the appropriate board in the Coding & Development category. Removing or hiding elements usually isn't too monumental of a task for a code to achieve.

The template system on ProBoards uses its own language to make its variables, if statements, and foreach loops function. Apart from that the layout templates consist mostly of HTML.
If your problem relates to the layout templates and not Javascript then the console unfortunately won't be of any help unless the change you're making is being done through the use of Javascript.

Hi, bai. Just to clarify beforehand: Javascript and Java are two different languages. && does stand for "and" in Javascript. If you're coding something for your forum in that language you may want to check your browser's developer console for errors. You can usually access it by pressing F12, clicking on the Console tab, then refreshing the page to make your Javascript execute again.

Hi, Tim. You can change the display name of an account by visiting its profile, clicking on the Edit Profile button, then navigating to the Personal tab. It's not possible to change an account's username.

The code in the thread Michael linked would go at the bottom of Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet in your admin area.

Quote you Brian @ Registering on behalf of another user is forbidden by our Terms of Service. Brian, you seem to have misunderstood what i said in my OP if it is a against your TOS then i would suggest you remove the option Pre Register members from you ACP options, as you stated, you have it there and it is against your TOS, then that's your error and no one else. There is no feature that pre-registers users. You can invite users to a forum but at the end of the day they still need to go through the full registration process regardless of whether they were invited or discovered the forum themselves. Registration is exactly the same for every account. If i can't register cause i am not going to sit there for ever trying to get passed the capcha then as all other board hosts allow, w pre register option which is against your TOS, well isn't that sad for PBs. Why is it always us that have the problems, why is it always our end that is wrong, i think you lot need to grow up and realize that you at PBs aren't the best as you think you are by blaming everyone else.. If you want to record a video showing your attempt to fill out the captcha that helps illustrate the issues you're describing so that I can see the problem firsthand you're more than free to. I am here for the sole purpose of helping you with any issues you have with our service. My previous post basically amounts to "I've tried duplicating the issue you're describing but couldn't reproduce it." I don't see anything in there where I imply that it's your fault or that you need to deal with it on your own. Ignoring issues with our service doesn't benefit us in the least bit.

Hi, Tim. You can target specific URLs with CSS but there's nothing specifically made to target links that go to sites separate from your forum.
