Me.. be more mature? o.0
Look lady, when I pay for something, I expect it to be what I asked for. When I got to a restaurant and order something, I expect it to be what I ordered. If it's not, I complain and have it fixed. Fast food is no exception.
Someone who has been working there for over a year should know how to read orders and make them correctly, especially when she heard me make the order. It's a CHEESEBURGER.. it has CHEESE on it.
Not that hard to understand.

Here's an idea; go be a bitch in someone elses thread.
I have every right to complain about my food being made incorrectly considering I PAID FOR IT.
Thank you, have a nice day.

Ungrateful much? I suppose people aren't entitled to mistakes anymore considering they probably see a few hundred burgers an hour go by in a day... Right... Wow, someone sure is being a negative nelly! What's with you commenting and being rude on my posts lately? o.0 it's like every time I see you, you have something bad/rude to say to me. I work there. It's a quiet store. I had JUST gotten off work, the store was dead. They get PAID to make food for people, the way they order it. And I paid for my food, which a lot of other people who work there do not. So no, they are not entitled to mistakes. You work a job, you're supposed to do it correctly. I WORK THERE.. it's not that hard of a job. There's a little screen with everyone's order on it that tells you what you're supposed to do. When it says "dbl cheeseburger Only Ketchup" It doesn't mean two meat patties with ketchup. The person who made my food has been working there a lot longer than me, and if she screwed up an order as simple as that, I have to wonder how many other people's orders she's messed up. If every time someone comes there and orders a cheeseburger with only ketchup and she doesn't put cheese on it, BK has to give those people free replacements if they complain. That loses the company money.

You orderd ONLY KETCHUP and they gave you a double burger in bread? What idiots! you should take it back! I have to work tomorrow night and plan on complaining to whichever manager is on. It wasn't that hard of an order to mess up, really o.0 I would have gone back today but I was already home by the time I realized, and it's a 20 minute drive back to town. Robert, I agree! I like McDonald's better but when I worked for them last I quit and they said they'd never hire me again THEY give you free food, BK doesn't. If it was free, I wouldn't complain.

So I don't think I've mentioned this here since I got the job, but long story short I work at Burger King now (god I hope it's only temporary). I just got home from work with some lunch for my boyfriend and I (that I had to pay for, mind you..). I open up my bag and get ready to eat. I ordered a double cheeseburger with only ketchup. I open it up and there's NO CHEESE.. on my CHEESEburger. Since when does "only ketchup" mean no cheese?! Seriously? REALLY?! I wouldn't be so upset if we got free meals, but Burger King doesn't give employee meals. There are a lot of my co-workers who sit in back all day eating food while they work.. I pay for mine when I'm ready to go home. So the LEAST they could do is NOT make me put my own flipping cheese from home on my burger. UGH!! No wonder people assume everyone that works at fast-food joints are complete idiots. I called my manager and complained, but he didn't seem to care (go figure). If I were a typical customer that didn't work there I'd probably be getting a free replacement. Anyone else have this happen lately? Would you be upset? Or am I overreacting? o.0

that makes three no one knows i'm on proboards at all, actually xD Same, and I plan to keep it that way. :x lol, don't take any offense, but this seems really strange to me everyone I know knows that I roleplay. It's not something I've ever wanted to or felt the need to keep a secret from people close to me. It's a pass-time that I enjoy which is also creative and constuctive, so why feel bad? Not to mention that I met my boyfriend of nine years now online, in a roleplaying site. So, yeah, no big deal there

Absolutely not. Not in a million years. Cheaters NEVER change.. once a cheater, always a cheater. I would never put myself in a situation where I knew I was going to get hurt by someone.
Cheaters can try to change, or say they're going to change, but it's just as bad as an addiction. You can't keep it at bay forever. Most cheaters get a thrill out of cheating on their spouse and they keep doing it. You can leave them and they'll get with someone else and do it to them too. It's a cycle that doesn't stop.
Love and trust don't mean anything to someone with a history of cheating (OBVIOUSLY!), so saying "depends on how much I trust them" just doesn't cut it for me. They can promise you up and down they won't cheat but eventually, they're going to. Question is will you find out? What diseases are they picking up? How many other times has it happened?

Well, I've been roleplaying online for ten years, but I've been roleplaying since I was a child, so.. guess it depends on what you meant in the OP.

Honestly? I'm impartial. I mean, if you're really really hairy and you want to shave/wax/groom then whatever.. it's your life, lol. But personally I'm not like "eww body hair!" like I was as a teenage girl. Men are supposed to have body hair.. it's a natural thing. I don't make my man shave.. that's just wrong, lol. But if he wanted to I'd probably just raise a brow and shrug it off. As for makeup on guys? I don't mind that either Pete Wentz looks great in eyeliner. So does Depp. ;D

it's because they really do believe in Christ and the birth, but they don't want to admit it lol.. hardly. I would suggest to you to go back and read all the posts and threads recently about how Christmas was derived from a Pagan holiday and Pagan traditions (like the Christmas Tree for example). Celebrating Winter Sulstice has existed a whole lot longer than before Jesus was even a little white swimmer, so.. yeah. I'm not Athiest.. I'm Agnostic. Big difference. I celebrate Christmas as a holiday because I always have, since birth. Wouldn't it seem a little silly for one person in a family to not celebrate christmas, not come to family gatherings, and not give/recieve gifts? I think it would. And I'd rather not be that person. I don't view christmas as a celebration of Jesus's birth. It's not even remotely about that to me. And it was never celebrated that way in our home growing up. It's about spending time with people I love. Christmas is about friends, and family.. and eating! And getting cool things that I've been unable to afford for myself the entire year. yeah, a little selfish.. but at least I'm honest.

@ those who support population control, would you support the ending of all child benefit programmes by governments? Do you think this would be more natural? Excellent suggestion, Anselm. That would be a start, and it would definately end part of the problem. I know a lot of people in real life that had more kids just because of the benefits that our government gives them. But I don't think it would stop the problem entirely, nor would it stop it quickly enough to fix the damage we've already done.

I agree with the OP and have proposed an idea of population control in the US more than once and every time just get flamed for it (go figure!). People think they have the right to breed and breed and breed and destroy the planet and suck up government funding and it's killing everyone! No sarcasm intended, by the way. Families should be limited to a set number of children (like one) in the US and should have to take a parenting test to get a liscence to breed. That takes out half of the population who are unfit (for whatever reason, whether it be money to support a child, mental capabilities, history of abuse, etc). People say it's taking away their rights. Some of those people are the same people who want to take away the rights of other US citizens in other ways, which I find rather ironic. Point is.. people need to stop having so many flipping kids and think about the environment and the WORLD as a whole. Every kid you pop out is eventually going to need a house and then theyr'e going to breed and those kids are going to need homes. No more forests, too many people, end of the world. We have a hard time finding jobs in our day and age.. do you really want to bring 7 kids into the world that aren't going to have a job in 18 years? Some people amaze me, they really do.

eh.. my parents never expected straight As out of me, and I never delivered them either As long as I was passing, regardless of letter grade, they didn't really care. However, I had a friend in school whose parents were constantly on her back about her grades. They expected her to get straight As and go to college and get straight As. When she brought home anything less she got grounded. I would have hated to have her life. Go easy on your kids. They're not going to remember half of this garbage in ten years anyway.
