Something also worth noting: So long as you're logged into the main admin account within the app you should be able to change your title, description, and thumbnail directly within the app without having to go through the directory.

Hi, angiem2. HTTPS is currently only available on Forums.net. However, the login pages of the forum utilize HTTPS. Secure pages throughout the forum will be introduced at a later date.

Hi, prepus76. The ProBoards Directory synchronizes with Tapatalk's directory. You can submit your forum to the ProBoards Directory by navigating to Settings > Forum Settings > Directory in your admin area.

Hi, gomalley411. After a bit of testing it appears directory entries aren't properly synchronizing with Tapatalk. We're looking into the cause of this now. For anyone else reading this, newly created forums are still being automatically added to Tapatalk's directory and should be accessible without issue. The only thing this affects is updating the title, description, and thumbnail in Tapatalk.

Yes, as Google can only see what a guest can see. They don't have any more access than the average user.

Hi, redsock. So long as your forum exists there's always the possibility of it appearing in online searches, but whether or not its actual contents get indexed by Google or are visible at all to unregistered users will be up to your permissions. The fastest way to impose this restriction is to turn on the Guests Must Login feature in Settings > Forum Settings > Login & Registration. This will make it so that any unregistered users who visit the forum are immediately met with a screen prompting them to log in or register if they want to view the forum's contents.

Hi, Akillian Talleyrand. In the first quote what is "this" referring to? In Themes > Layout Templates > Thread > Post List the "User likes this" text is generated by the $[post.likes] variable. Move it to the location of your choice within the template.

Hi, lommaren. Typing your posts using the BBCode tab of the editor should alleviate this issue. When Firefox updated to 60.0 it changed the default behavior of contenteditable elements to match other browsers and utilize div tags to separate each line instead of line breaks. This results in the div tags you see in your posts. Our code only corrects this in browsers that exhibited this behavior at the time of it being written so Firefox isn't currently included. A task already exists for our developers to fix this.

When I viewed the forum I was doing so under the admin account. What username are you viewing the forum under?

I should probably also note that this is a topic covered in our Terms of Service.

Hi, mackenzieh. You're seeing that message due to either your browser or a browser extension you have installed preventing the display of our banner advertisements. ProBoards is completely free on the basis that ads are displayed at the top and bottom of the forum as they help us generate revenue to directly support our ability to keep ProBoards free. You can pay to remove banner advertisements on the forum via Upgrades > Ad-Free in your admin area. Or to hide all advertisements on all ProBoards forums for just your account you can purchase ProBoards+ via the Gift tab of your profile on any forum you're a member of.

Hi, stubo. In Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS the background properties of buttons located in title bars can be customized in Body (Content) > Containers > Title Bars > Buttons.

Hi, gomalley411. In Settings > Forum Settings > Navigation you can click on the Add Custom button and create a new navigation menu item pointed towards the following URL to take users to the Recent Threads page:
