Hi, Bonas08. If you turn on the Restrict Registration feature in Settings > Forum Settings > Login & Registration you can add a Restricted Registration Message specifying what information they need to provide alongside their registration before you approve their account. Turning on the Allow Request Message option will add a field after registration that enables them to type this information. You can view the information they submit via the View link shown under the Request column in Members > Pending Registrations.

Hi, Tim. I'm not sure which text you're referring to, but since green isn't one of the default theme colors I'm assuming you know which section you're trying to change the text color of. You can click on any section that has the icon to bring up the color picker. You can select a color from the vertical color bar and adjust its brightness in the square to the left.

So it has to be a new account? There is no way to get them their original account back? That is correct.

Hi, vampyricarts. This is being produced by your Poke System plugin due to the plugin key permissions you've specified with it. In Plugins > Manage > Poke System go into the Key Permissions tab and change the write permissions to Members & Staff.

As mentioned earlier in this thread it's not possible to make that page your homepage.

In Themes > Layout Templates > Forum Wrapper the top ad resides wherever the $[header] variable is placed.
In the case of your forum you've placed it inside the banner area, so the ad is showing there. Moving that variable out of the banner area will move the ad.

Hi, Tim. ProBoards URLs used to contain numbers after the "proboards" part of the domain name several years ago. This is no longer the case, so links including the numbers are no longer valid.

Hi, Retread. Your attachments would remain, but you wouldn't be able to upload anything new until you've cleared space. That's about it.

Hi, PSR. You can't exit the quote because you can only move the typing caret where a text node exists. Once you've backspaced into the quote you've deleted the only other text that existed outside of it. If you've done this on accident you can switch to the BBCode tab and type any text after the quote's closing tag to continue typing after the quote.

Questions for Moderators...Is their a global way to replace these file paths on Proboards. Security > Censored Words in your admin area is the best option for this. Replace postimg.org with postimg.cc and ensure the Exact Word checkbox is unchecked and all of the URLs forum-wide should change accordingly.

The mobile version of the forum always uses the default index page as custom pages exist only on the desktop version. Therefore it's not possible to change the homepage on the mobile version.

Hi, AdmiralBlackEagle. Q1: On the Home Page: "originofdivinity.proboards.com" In the Visual Editor, how do I manipulate the "hover over scroll down minimize effect?" I was playing with the "Visual Editor" and I broke something and the hover over started happening.. This is likely due to font changes done in Body (Content) > Lists (Boards, Threads, Posts...) > Rows > Highlight > Text > Links. If you want to reset just the font changes in this section go into Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet and change line 551 from this: To this: Q2: Also how do I manipulate the color of the URL's across the entire forum or is there several sections which have their own Hyperlink settings for colors? On the default theme these are usually inherited from one or two sections until you customize the more advanced sections, but since you're using a theme from the library your mileage may vary. I would suggest going to Themes > Colors & Theme Creator and clicking on Customize Theme Colors. Change the various link color options there and see if the preview pane reflects the changes you wished to make. If not, you'll likely need to change various sections in the visual editor to get the colors you want in the correct locations.

Hi, channonite. We've blocked multiple redirect ads over the course of this week following the threads created here and the reports automatically generated by our ad report system. The most recent blocks were performed about 3 hours and 45 minutes before this post, but may not be coming into effect until the next couple hours due to how long the block takes to enact on the end of our advertising partners. I'll make a note for our team to check once again for new redirects reported by our automated system. If you can provide any more information about the affected devices (model, browser the redirect took place in, approximate geographic location) that will also be beneficial for comparison against the reports.

Hi, sean22. This likely requires an MX record change on our end since your domain is now pointed towards our nameservers. However, based on this help article I don't know if Yahoo publicly provides their MX records in your use case. help.smallbusiness.yahoo.net/s/article/SLN22315Assuming that's the Yahoo service you used you may want to contact their support team for more information on this. Basically, just let them know that you've pointed your domain towards our nameservers and now need to know what to provide to ProBoards to get your email working again.

That usually indicates a search issue rather than the member being deleted.
I've submitted a user reindex request to the search server associated with your forum. Give it a few minutes and then try doing another user search to see if the users are searchable again.
